Candidates will study two related Units for their GCE Advanced qualification. The two AS units will now be worth 50% of the total Advanced GCE marks: Unit G151 being 30% of the total Advanced GCE marks and Unit G152 being 20% of the total Advanced GCE marks.
Unit G155 is worth 30% of the total Advanced GCE marks and is examined in a 2 hour written paper worth 120 marks. This question paper has three sections:
Section A: Candidates are required to answer one essay question from a choice of three based on this area of substantive law.
Section B: Candidates are required to answer one problem question from a choice of three based on this area of substantive law.
Section C: Candidates are required to answer one Dilemma Board (objective questioning) question from a choice of two based on this area of substantive law.
Candidates answer three questions. This unit is synoptic (presenting a summary of the principal parts or a general view of the whole.)
